at the spa!
The Dental Spa Center, located in Ypsilanti, was established by Dr. Gary Sasaki in 2003 and was the first of its kind in Michigan. Patients here are invited to enjoy fresh flowers, fresh-baked cookies, individually brewed cups of coffee, and other refreshments before or after their appointment. Patients receive cutting edge dental treatment while relaxing on a soft pillow and listening to their favorite music through the in-office iTunes database. Patients are welcome to freshen up before leaving the office with a warm, moist towel, and a Smint (sugarless mint).
The office has two massage therapists on staff, and during dental treatment, patients can receive paraffin wax dips, hand massages, and foot massages. Chair massage for the back and neck is offered before or after dental treatment, all at no additional cost to the patients dental visit. Full Body Massage and Hot Stone Massage are available for an additional fee. The full body massage sessions are tailored to offer a harmonious blend of therapeutic and relaxation based on the individual needs of each client. Styles of massage include Swedish massage, neuromuscular therapy, deep tissue, medical, reflexology, and Reiki energy therapy. The Hot Stone Massage session is a warm, soothing hour and one half of deep relaxation therapy.
The office provides a comprehensive range of dental treatments, including: preventive therapy, fillings, crowns/bridges, deep cleanings, dentures, implant restorations, cosmetic dentistry, TMJ treatment, and full mouth reconstruction. The Dental Spa Center offers the latest in dental technology, including digital x-rays and intraoral cameras that help patients understand the problems that the dentist sees with their teeth.
